[RECIPE] Sushi Bake
Sushi Bake is a warm and comforting fusion dish that brings the flavors of Sushi into a layered casserole. Each bite combines seasoned Sushi rice, imitation crab mixed with cream cheese and mayonnaise, and a drizzle of Unagi Sauce. This dish is perfect for both weeknight dinners and holidya potlucks, where everyone can enjoy rolling bites in Nori Sheets.

Ingredients:
[Sushi Rice]
- 4 cups Cooked Rice (Rice Options)
- 3 tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 1 &1/2 tbsp Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
[Topping Mixture]
- 4 oz Cream Cheese
- 1/3 cup of Mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Unagi Sauce
- 6 sticks Kanikama Imitation Crab
- 1 pc Cucumber
- 2 pcs Scallion
- Furikake
- Nori Sheets
Instructions:
- Cook the rice to prepare. (See How to Cook Rice)
- Make Sushi Rice.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F.
- Dice the cucmer and chop the imitation crab sticks and scallions.
- Ina bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and Unagi sauce until smooth. Add the chopped scallions and imitation crab, mixing well.
- In a baking dish, spread the sushi rice in an even layer. Top with the cream cheese and crab mixture, spreading evenly. Sprinkle Furikake seasoning generaously over the top.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the top is slightly golden and heated through. Top the diced cucumber over the cooked Sushi Bake.
- Scoop a portion of the Sushi Bake onto a small piece of Nori Sheet, wrap, and enjoy each bite.
