[RECIPE] Tomato Risotto

This recipe is a delightful fusion of flavors that transforms leftover rice into a gourmet experience. The savory essence of bacon with the luscious tomato and creamy risotto, it creates a symphony of taste and texture.  (Served in Hakusan Tomoe Large, Blue)

  • 2 cups Cooked Rice (rice selections)
  • 2 pcs small Tomato
  • 2 pcs Bacon
  • 1/4 Onion
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 pc Consomme Cube (chicken bouillon) 
  • 3 tbsp Parmesan Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper



          1. Finely chop the onion. And dice the tomatoes and bacon into small pieces.
          2. In a pan over medium heat, cook the bacon until it becomes crispy, remove it from the pan.
          3. Use the bacon grease, stir fry the onion until it becomes translucent.
          4. Add the cooked rice and tomatoes into the pan and stir quickly.
          5. Pour in the water, consommé cube and season with salt and pepper. Allow it to simmer for 3-4 minutes until the rice absorbs the liquid.
          6. Sprinkle in the parmesan cheese.
          7. Plate it in a serving bowl, finish with more parmesan cheese and black pepper if desired.
