So glad I tried this.

I had been reading about "konjac rice" in different places and decided to give this a try. I'm glad I did. I just added it to white rice like the instructions say, very easy. It turned out to be much better than I expected. I was afraid it might smell weird like the gray konjac used in oden, but this white and has no fishy odor. The texture is a bit chewy but only slightly, you hardly notice the difference. I ate it with curry. Helps if you're trying to lower carbs.

My New Favorite

I recently purchased Konjac rice, because my husband and I are on a low-carb, gluten-free diet. I mixed this with brown rice. There is no obvious smell and I actually like it better than plain brown rice. I used my usual rice cooker to cook it, and it came out just like regular rice. It helps to stir the cooked rice a little before serving, because the konjac pieces float to the top. I am definitely going to order more.
