With a soft texture and moderate taste, Nanatsudobashi brings out the taste of your side dishes.
A particularly beneficial attribute for your specific recipes, these rice grains do not stick together and it maintains it's delicious flavor even when served cold.

Have bought your products for several years and am never disappointed. Have given as gift and will continue to replenish my supply as the year goes. Thank you for introducing me to this wonderful food source. Roy M
This is my favorite rice I’ve tried yet, and I feel like I’ve tried enough varieties to consider myself experienced It has a very light taste and has a nice chew but is just a bit “harder” than other types of rice I’ve had. It stands out because it’s much more on the savory side than the sweet side- which I enjoy as someone who doesn’t like sweetness. I’d recommend keeping your rice in an airtight container in the fridge (trust me, makes a HUGE difference in flavor, regardless of variety). I usually use less water and soak for an hour in the fridge.
One of our family favorite. Hokkaido Nanatsuboshi is wonderful rice! Highly recommended for those who miss the aroma, texture and the taste of true Japanese short grain rice.
