Our favorite rice, always always
so smooth and with a distinct texture; best rice outside of Japan
The first time I tried this rice was in Hawaii at Tonkatsu Tamafuji. It was so flavorful and fluffy that I went and tracked down The Rice Factory in Honolulu to purchase a 5lb. bag to bring back home in the states. I now order this rice for myself and for everyone in my family. Whenever we have guests over, they specifically request this rice—the rest of the meal is secondary.
