Tell us about the concept behind Isle of Us.
Our founder, Lisle Richards, is a well-known restauranteur in the city passionate about creating spaces that offer high-quality, nourishing foods that don't skimp on flavor. Of course, this all stems from a dedication to supporting sustainable food production while uplifting and supporting local farmers and artisans as much as possible. He joined Chef Matt Aita to turn this ethos into a humble menu and take-home staples with elevated flavors. I guess you could say that their mission is to show people the power of high-quality, intentionally-crafted food.
Everything we do at Isle of Us, whether catering, creating new menu items, or connecting with local producers, we do it with our community in mind. We believe that food is one of the most powerful conduits for connection and creativity, and every day, we put our all into making that known.]
What are some of the signature items that customers keep coming back for?
So, tell us, what made you start using rice from the rice factory NEW YORK?
Well, it just fits with our whole philosophy. Our core goal is to source the best quality products from local businesses to provide our customers with the best experience possible. Our guests deserve the best, and since you guys have the best rice, it was an easy choice!
How have your customers been responding to the rice from the rice factory?
They absolutely love it—you can tell by the fact that the salmon rice bowl is one of our most popular items! We even have nutritionists that come by and comment on how good the rice is.
Do you have any news or upcoming events that readers should know about?
We don't have anything specific coming up in the next little while, but we are always creating new things and bringing new products to our shelves to share with our community.
